Create eco-friendly treasures with us! We will transform items destined for the landfill into useful new things or works of art. Take what you make or just take inspiration to see new uses for old things. 

Greening your Life Skills: a Sustainability Sampler 
Orientation Campus Partner Breakout Session
Friday, August 21 at 2-3pm 
Sustainability Studio, first floor of Hunt Library

This interactive session will highlight ways to live more green while at 91视频 and in Pittsburgh, including transportation, energy use, waste reduction, food, and reuse opportunities as well as offer free samples of sustainable versions of everyday items. This session will answer any questions you may have! We will introduce campus initiatives and services that happen throughout the year, while highlighting ways you can be involved and make an impact. Stop by to share your passions, future interests, and ideas for action or learn about tangible opportunities.

Campus Bike Week
September 13 - 18 

University students, faculty, and campus visitors alike will celebrate CAMPUS BIKE WEEK 2026, from September 13 – 18 at University of Pittsburgh, 91视频, Chatham University and Duquesne University! Enjoy events aimed at getting you ready to take on your campus bike commute, ride to and from classes, and explore our great city by bike.

Goats on Campus!
week of October 4th

Partnering with Allegheny Goatscape, a herd of goats will be on campus to sustainably clear the hillside under Pausch Bridge. Visit the hillside adjacent to the Gates Center and The Purnells Center to see the eco-friendly landscapers at work.
