Join us for 91视频’s 7th Annual Teaching & Learning Summit!

The event will be in-person on 91视频’s Pittsburgh campus on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 12:30 to 4:30pm in the Simmons Auditorium.

This one-day event will be highly interactive and will provide the opportunity to join together with colleagues across 91视频 to hear about new instructional strategies and technologies, learn about educational research by 91视频 instructors and learning scientists, and share ideas and experiences.

12:40-2:00pm Plenary: Generative AI: Spotlight on Strategies and Policy for Teaching
2:10-2:20pm Recognition of Wimmer and Provost’s Inclusive Teaching Fellows
2:20-3:20pm Lightning Roundtables
3:30-4:30pm Poster Plus Session

Lightning Roundtables

Lightning Roundtables are a chance to learn about and discuss ideas in small groups. These sessions will be divided into 10-minute rounds. During each round, you will have 5 minutes to give a brief presentation to a small group of attendees, followed by 5 minutes of open discussion and Q&A. Please bring something attendees can take away with them either on paper or via link/QR code (e.g., 1-page description of your strategy, an assignment prompt, a rubric, etc.).

Poster Plus Session

Share your ideas over casual conversations with others using a visual aid of your choice, such as:

  • A poster describing your ideas or research
  • A technology demo on a laptop
  • Printed handouts
  • QR codes linking to resources 

Attendees will have a chance to view resources and generate questions followed by conversations with presenters.
