Set Your Password

Follow the steps below to set your TC2 password 
  1. Visit (US Gov) page and follow the onscreen instructions. 
    You will need your TC2 email address (Andrew userID@cui.cmu.edu).
  2. To reduce the risk of compromised credentials, do not use your Andrew password for your TC2 password. For help on creating a strong password, visit 91视频’s Guidelines for Password Management.

    A  confirmation email will be sent to your Andrew email address. Check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive the confirmation.

Set Up Multi-Factor Authentication

Once you have set your password, follow the steps below to set up multi-factor authentication (MFA).

  1. Visit .
  2. Type your TC2 email (Andrew userID@cui.cmu.edu) and password.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure multi-factor authentication (MFA) using the Microsoft Authenticator app. An Android or iOS mobile device is required.

Manage Your Account

Visit  to update your TC2 password, manage your multi-factor authentication devices, review your sign-in history, or log out of all active sessions. If you forget your TC2 password, you can reset it on the Microsoft Online Password Reset (US Gov) site.

Access TC2 Resourses

Access to your TC2 email, the collaborative hub, and additional resources securely through Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).

Use one of the options below to start an AVD session.

Microsoft Remote Desktop client for Windows

  1. Follow the steps in  to connect. 
  2. Select the Subscribe option and sign in with your TC2 email.

Windows App for macOS

  1. Follow the steps in  to connect. 
  2. Click the plus sign (top right) to subscribe to a workspace, then select Add Workspace.
  3. Type 
  4. Sign in with your TC2 email (Andrew userID@cui.cmu.edu).

Microsoft Remote Desktop Web client

  1. with your TC2 email (Andrew userID@cui.cmu.edu).
  2. Follow Microsoft's  document. 

    Supported on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Chrome OS.
