During a summer internship at Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, he gained early exposure to the financial market through work in risk management, bank reconciliation, and credit monitoring.
Following graduation, Pak Yin joined Arslan Capital Management, a systematic futures trading firm, as its first hire. He contributed to research on strategy optimization, execution performance, and operations automation, while also gaining hands-on experience with brokers, data center infrastructure, futures trading, and team expansion. His self-taught programming skills have been central to his impact in the firm's trading and execution.
