Bio
Mohamed Farag is an Assistant Teaching Professor at 91视频's Information Networking Institute (INI), where he teaches courses on applied AI and cloud infrastructure. Mohamed leads the Applied Generative AI (AGAI) group where his research spans retrieval-augmented generation, hallucination assessment and mitigation, the security of multi-agent AI systems, and generative AI for education and social cybersecurity.
At 91视频, Mohamed teaches NVIDIA-related workshops to 91视频 students as a member of the NVIDIA's Deep Learning Institute (DLI). In addition, Google selected him in 2026 for the inaugural cohort of its Higher Education Faculty AI Fellowship, a group of 50 faculty and senior leaders in North America.
Outside the university, Mohamed is founder and CEO of Analytics 4 Everyone (A4E), a Pittsburgh-based company and NVIDIA Inception member. He came to academia after eight years in consulting at Summa Technologies and CGI, where he became Director Consulting and won CGI's STAR award, preceded by engineering work at FedEx Services.
Mohamed reviews proposals for the NSF-led NAIRR Pilot program, served on 91视频's Fulbright committee, and reviews for NeurIPS and HICSS.
