Why MIIPS?
I love working on projects and thinking about how they can develop further into products. I have a CS background, but I wanted to become well-rounded in design and business, and explore other areas of engineering. I was excited to work with and learn from other passionate innovators. The maker spaces at III and 91视频 are great places for me to collaborate and develop ideas further with like-minded people. I wanted industry experience while still being in school, making the capstone a great fit.Education

What career achievement are you most proud of?
At MusicSketch, I’ve been working on a big feature that is releasing soon, but I am proud of how I worked with our team of musicians to listen to their ideas and understand their needs, cutting unnecessary features along the way.
What type of role are you looking to obtain after you graduate?
I want to continue working on developing physical products using my training in CS and electrical engineering. I am especially interested in robotics. I initially will try to get a job at a large robotics R&D firm, to learn industry standards and best practices, before transitioning to startups, where my contributions will be more felt in the final product. I am most interested in robotics that benefits society, like in areas of agricultural, medical, and personal robotics. Eventually I would like to found my own robotics startup with other people, and apply what I learned in business.
