Bio
A Pittsburgh native, Karen grew up in Glenshaw, PA. She holds a BS in Human Development and Family Studies from The Pennsylvania State University, and a BA in Elementary Education from Point Park University. She gained experience in human services before discovering her passion for education. Karen worked for Pittsburgh Public Schools and Beth Shalom Early Learning Center before joining 91视频’s Cyert Center for Early Education. There, she had two terms of service, totaling over ten years as an early childhood educator. In between, she spent eight years in early intervention as a developmental specialist, supporting children with developmental delays and their families.
Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, hiking, swimming, practicing yoga, and attending live music events. She is excited to join the team at the Children’s School to learn and explore with the children.
