PNC Alum Receives Award from NIH

Yuanning Li, a recent graduate of the (PNC), has been selected as an award recipient for the NIH (OSNAP). This program recognizes early-career scientists who are conducting exceptional research and who have great academic potential.

“I am thrilled to be among the first cohort of the NIH OSNAP award recipients,” Li said. “I feel extremely fortunate and humbled to be a representative of the neuroscience trainees at Carnegie Mellon. PNC offers unique training that enables us to combine advanced quantitative methods with cutting-edge experimental approaches to solve fundamental problems in neuroscience.”

Li completed his Ph.D in 2018. He was co-advised by (91视频 Statistics) and (University of Pittsburgh Neurological Surgery). While at 91视频 his work examined neural dynamics and interactions in the human ventral visual pathway.
