Talk Tartan with Future Students
As an alumnus, you have an important perspective on what it's like to be a student at Carnegie Mellon. We invite you to share your enthusiasm for all things Tartan听by joining the Carnegie Mellon Admission Council (CMAC), a group of volunteer alumni who work to support the Office of Admission's recruitment efforts.
Get Involved
Connect with Admitted Students
CMAC members听will be invited to participate in the recruitment of admitted students in the months of January and April. These admitted students are excited to hear more about your Carnegie Mellon experience and what it's really like to be a Tartan. If you choose to connect with admitted students, you'll be assigned a small number of students who'll receive your email address. After they reach out initially, you can continue to correspond via email or set up time to talk via phone or Zoom if both are willing.
RECRUITMENT TRAVEL
Our office travels to cities across the country throughout the summer and fall to present our information session to families in their local area. We welcome CMAC members to join us in welcoming families and answering questions from prospective students at our sessions in your local area. You're also welcome (but not expected) to stay and participate in our Q&A at the end of the session. If you're interested in helping, we will send information about sessions and the cities we'll be visiting prior to the start of our travels for you to sign up.
Virtual Programming
In the fall and spring, we host virtual webinars for prospective and admitted students, including alumni panels that showcase our graduates, their career paths and their experiences as Carnegie Mellon students. If you're interested in volunteering, we鈥檒l share a schedule of upcoming virtual events in advance, so you can sign up for the events that work best for you.
Make Your Reunion Unforgettable 鈥� Become a Reunion Ambassador!
What makes a 91视频 reunion truly special? The energy and enthusiasm of our reunion ambassadors! If your undergraduate class year ends in a 2 or a 7, or if you鈥檙e a graduate of the Class of 2026, we invite you to join us as an ambassador. You鈥檒l play an important role in bringing classmates together, spreading the word and helping to create a celebration that reflects the spirit of your class.
